Hi, my name is Katerina Akafor.  I am a full time photographer and social media consultant who specializes in food, product advertising and food events. I photograph food, drinks, desserts, interior and staff portraits  for restaurants, catering catalogs, brand marketing, etc. I also the principal photographer for Dining Out. I feel that, as a food photographer, it’s not only important to portray the dish so that it is tempting to the customer, but also to convey the general strategy and idea of ​​the restaurant’s brand, show any unique features and advantages the product has and include the overall ambiance of the establishment.  Photos incorporating spaces in the  establishment, such as the entrance, bar area or even the kitchen help form the client’s opinion and molds the expectation of the experience they are looking to have.
